Xbox Series X rumored to have more launch titles than PS5

Can Xbox Series X be the winner of the next generation?

After Microsoft announced the Xbox Series X, the competition between PS5 and the new Xbox began. Even though we do not have enough knowledge to compare consoles themselves, we know about their games. A Russian video game journalist (who also predicted the announcement of Hellblade 2) claimed he had insider information.

According to Anton Logvinov’s Twitter posts, the Xbox Series X will have more launch titles than PS5. PlayStation beat Xbox on this generation with its exclusives and the same thing applied for the previous generation too. Microsoft seems to be dedicated to winning this generation at last.

The new Xbox will have 12-16 exclusive games at launch. Even though the games in question are not certainly big titles, they are there for the players to play. The journalist describes the situation as “similar to Xbox 360’s launch.” On the other hand, the new PlayStation might not even have a lot of exclusives.

It is claimed on the Twitter post above that Sony will not have as many exclusives as Microsoft does. We will see updated versions of The Last of Us 2 and Death Stranding with a couple of more small exclusive titles. Anton Logvinov claims that this information comes from his insider sources and not a rumor.

Even though the journalist claims that these are not rumors, we have to proceed with care. Sony has always had the upper hand when it comes to exclusive titles, so it does not seem possible for them to just give out nothing.
