EA just announced that the fan-favorite Command and Conquer series is coming back with a remastered collection. Command and Conquer Remastered Collection will release on June 5. In order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series, the collection will be available for all players to purchase.
Since this is an anniversary re-release, there is a premium option for collectors. The collection’s standard edition will be available on both Steam and Origin. Command and Conquer Remastered Collection Editions
- Command & Conquer Remastered Collection (digital) – $ 19.99 USD – Available on Origin and Steam. Includes remastered versions of Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert, plus all three extension packages. (Covert Operations, Counterstrike and The Aftermath) In addition, a whole many extra functions and improvements.
- Special Edition (physical) – $ 59.99 USD – Only available at select stores. This edition comes in a large two-part box and contains a code for digital download via Steam. In addition, a 16 GB USB stick in the form of a Tiberium crystal with the remastered original soundtrack (119 songs, more than 7 hours of music), including the album “Frank Klepecki and the Tiberian Sons: Celebrating 25 Years of Command & Conquer”), a two-sided poster of 45 x 60 cm, four faction pins, prints of the tech tree (one for each faction) and a sheet of faction stickers included.
- 25th Anniversary Edition (physical) – $ 149.99 USD – Only available at select stores. This edition contains everything from the Special Edition, plus a beautiful and sturdy box with foil embossing. Furthermore, the remastered original soundtrack on six CDs, signed by Frank Klepacki, an art book of more than 100 pages, four faction emblems, reversible beanie, a metal replica of the mammoth tank and painted PVC replicas with light and sound from the tesla coil and obelisk are included.
